Settings and preferences
To get to Paltalk settings, click on the settings icon just above your list of pals.
This area contains various switches and menu settings that allow you to select your camera, pick your input and output audio devices to speak or play music, and adjust the microphone or music level.
Camera
Use this drop down menu to select your default webcam.
If your camera does not start, you may need to check the camera permissions on your PC.
Display members achievement level and points over videos
Use this switch to turn this overlay on or off.
Display recent gifts over videos
Use this switch to turn gift overlays on or off
Microphone
Use this drop down menu to select your default audio input device. Usually this is your microphone. You could also select a different audio device for input. For example if you want to play music into a chat room you could select 'Stereo Mix'.
As you speak you should see the volume level indicator bar bouncing from left to right.
Speaker
Use this drop down menu to select your default audio output device. Usually this would be 'speaker'.
