Email verification code (All platforms)
When you create an account with Paltalk we ask that you provide a valid email address so that we can send important communications to you about any changes to your account, and/ or chat room.
If you ever decide to subscribe to any of our services, having a valid email is even more critical.
The importance of using a valid email address at registration is you will see 'nag' screens until you verify your email by clicking on the link provided in your initial registration confirmation email, and eventually will not be able to use the service if you refuse to do so.
If you did not receive your email verification code at the email address you provided, please try these steps:
Check your 'Junk' or 'Spam' folder. The Paltalk email may have been moved by the 'spam filter'. Please also check that your email storage limit is not exceeded or near full. If it is then please delete some unwanted emails to free some space.
If you cannot find your verification code please log into www.paltalk.com.
Near the middle of the 'account information' section you should see your email address listed. If you have entered an invalid email address you can click on the 'change' link to choose a working email address.
If your email address is correct but it is not yet verified, click the 'verify link'. If you had your verification code you would enter it here, then click the 'verify' button.
If you have not received a verification email, please click on the 'resend' button in the window that has popped up in step 3. Check your email inbox in a minute or so, then enter the verification code that you received in the email as above.
If this is the first time you have logged into the 'my paltalk' account management site you will be asked to pick a secret question and answer to further enhance your security and protect your account from being stolen. Please be sure that you save this information because you will need it in the future.
