The messenger or 'pal list window' is a 'container', meaning that it has several windows elements layered on top of each other.

Which element to display is decided by what 'tab' you select. Selecting a 'tab' will bring that element forward into the 'container' window.



the 'welcome' tab
the contents of the 'welcome' tab are displayed immediately after logging in

this tab displays a list of the top 5 rooms that are open, along with a list of featured rooms
